Sad Cat Studios and Atari are bringing REPLACED to Android on December 8, giving mobile players a new way to experience the cinematic cyberpunk adventure. The announcement also comes as the game surpasses 900,000 players across all platforms since its release in Spring 2026.
Developed for Android by Poland-based studio The Knights of U, the mobile version will be part of the Google Play Games program, allowing players to access the game across compatible mobile devices, tablets, and PC with a single purchase. The port aims to bring the same cinematic presentation and atmospheric world to a new audience.
REPLACED is a 2.5D platformer set in an alternate version of 1980s America, where the aftermath of a nuclear catastrophe has left society in a dark and unforgiving state. Players explore Phoenix City as R.E.A.C.H., an artificial intelligence trapped inside a human body, uncovering the secrets of the powerful Phoenix Corporation while navigating a world where corruption and exploitation have become commonplace.
Combining cinematic exploration with fluid action, the game weaves its platforming around a story exploring humanity, identity, and control. As R.E.A.C.H. investigates the circumstances behind its creation, the people and secrets of Phoenix City reveal a society in which human life has become another commodity.
With its Android release scheduled for December 8, REPLACED is set to reach players beyond its original PC and console audience. The game’s milestone of more than 900,000 players also highlights the reach of its dystopian vision as Sad Cat Studios and Atari prepare to bring the adventure to another platform.
