Here is some exciting news for shmup fans, as the Mega Drive Mini version of Darius is available on Switch and PS4 today in Japan and hopefully soon worldwide.
This version comes with the Old, New & Extra versions as well as boss rushes for each mode, and was ported by M2. This also comes with all of the usual bonuses from M2 such as screen options and autofire options.
The port is relatively cheap as well, costing only 660 yen. We can only hope for a worldwide release to follow, but if not, both systems are region-free.
