Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen is getting a taste of Delicious in Dungeon with a new collaboration that brings two of the manga and anime’s most recognizable characters into its fantasy world. Laios and Marcille are joining the adventure as recruitable Official Pawns, while players can also claim special crossover outfits inspired by the characters.
The collaboration is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with Nintendo Switch 2 players getting access on November 11. The crossover will run until January 28, 2027, when a subsequent title update is scheduled to arrive across all platforms.
Players can recruit Official Pawns modeled after Laios, the heavily armored adventurer, and Marcille, the elven mage, through Riftstones found in locations such as towns. Both characters can accompany the Arisen on their adventures, although their availability is limited to the collaboration period.
There is also a permanent reward for players who participate. Anyone who loads their Dragon’s Dogma II or Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen save data during the event will automatically receive special outfits based on Laios and Marcille. These costumes will be added to the in-game storage and can be equipped by both the Arisen and their Pawns. Unlike the recruitable characters, the outfits will remain available even after the collaboration concludes.
The update introducing the crossover also includes additional bug fixes across the supported platforms, giving players another reason to return to the adventure. However, the collaboration itself is the main attraction, particularly for fans of both fantasy properties.
Created by Ryoko Kui, Delicious in Dungeon follows Laios and his companions as they venture into a dangerous labyrinth to rescue his sister after she is swallowed by a Red Dragon. With limited supplies, the party turns to an unconventional survival strategy: hunting, preparing, and eating the monsters they encounter along the way. The manga’s distinctive combination of fantasy adventure, monster design, and cooking helped it develop a dedicated following, while its 2024 anime adaptation introduced the series to an even wider international audience.
Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen is available for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for $49.99. The Dark Arisen Expansion is also available separately as DLC for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions for $29.99.
