Nintendo is adding three more classic Game Boy games to its Nintendo Classics library on October 27, giving Nintendo Switch Online subscribers another batch of retro titles to revisit. The upcoming additions include the ghostly action game Avenging Spirit, the puzzle-focused Mole Mania, and the pinball-inspired Revenge of the ‘Gator.

Originally released for the Game Boy, Avenging Spirit stands out with a possession mechanic that lets players take control of different characters. After being murdered by a criminal syndicate that kidnaps his girlfriend to exploit her scientist father’s research, the protagonist returns as a ghost to rescue her. Players will need to possess enemies and use their abilities to overcome six stages on the way to reuniting the couple.

Meanwhile, Mole Mania offers a different kind of challenge, following Muddy Mole as he attempts to defeat the villainous farmer Jinbe and reunite with his family. Players must push, pull, and throw balls to trap enemies, solve puzzles, and dig through underground passages. The game also features a two-player versus mode, allowing friends to compete as either Muddy or Jinbe.

Rounding out the lineup is Revenge of the ‘Gator, a pinball game featuring multiple stages, individual objectives, and bonus areas. Players can aim for high scores in single-player mode or compete against a friend in its two-player and Match Play modes.

All three games will join the Game Boy – Nintendo Classics library on October 27. Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to revisit these distinct pieces of Game Boy history, from unusual ghost-powered action to underground puzzles and portable pinball.
