Buckshot Roulette is taking its high-stakes game of Russian roulette to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, with publisher CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Mike Klubnika confirming that the indie hit is coming to PS5, PS4, and Switch. A release date has yet to be announced, but the new console versions will give more players the opportunity to test their luck against The Dealer.
Rather than using a traditional revolver, Buckshot Roulette puts a 12-gauge shotgun at the centre of its deadly encounters. Set inside a gritty underground nightclub, the game challenges players to outwit their opponent, manage their available items, and make calculated decisions as they attempt to survive each round. Players can also face off against friends, adding a multiplayer option to its tense mix of strategy and chance.
Buckshot Roulette originally launched on PC before making its way to Xbox One and Xbox Series in July 2026. The game has since surpassed four million units sold, building a substantial audience since its initial release. Its Steam launch in 2024 also earned critical acclaim, with the game receiving an 85 on Metacritic and nominations at both The Indie Game Awards and The Horror Game Awards.
The upcoming PlayStation and Switch versions will expand the game’s reach even further, although details about their release dates and any platform-specific features have yet to be revealed. For now, players can check out the new announcement trailer for a look at what awaits them when Buckshot Roulette makes its way to the additional platforms.
