Nintendo Switch 2 owners can now return to the nightmare of Raccoon City, as Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition have officially launched on the platform. Capcom is marking the arrival of all three remakes with limited-time discounts running through November 7, 2026, giving players an opportunity to experience some of the franchise’s most celebrated entries for less.

The three releases bring modernized versions of these survival horror classics to Nintendo’s latest console, with Capcom’s RE ENGINE powering their updated gameplay and presentation. Players can revisit the outbreak through the perspectives of Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine, before following Leon on his mission to rescue the president’s daughter in Resident Evil 4.

Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition follows Leon and Claire as they arrive in Raccoon City during a devastating viral outbreak. What begins as an already dangerous situation quickly becomes a fight for survival against the undead and the horrors lurking throughout the city. Resident Evil 3 shifts the focus to Jill Valentine as she attempts to escape the collapsing city while being relentlessly pursued by Nemesis, one of the franchise’s most recognizable monsters.

Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition takes the series in a different direction, sending Leon on a mission six years after the Raccoon City incident. Alongside the main campaign, this edition includes the Separate Ways expansion, which explores another side of the story, as well as additional downloadable content.

Although the remakes retain the core experiences of their original games, they introduce modernized gameplay and reworked presentations. Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition and Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition also include additional content from their respective original releases, giving players more to explore beyond the main campaigns.

With these three releases, Nintendo Switch 2 players have another way to experience major chapters in the Resident Evil franchise as it celebrates its 30th anniversary. The games are available now, with the special launch discounts scheduled to end on November 7, 2026.
