Zen Studios has outlined its plans for the remainder of 2026, with several announcements for Pinball FX fans, including a new arcade platform, more Williams pinball tables, and the upcoming arrival of Judge Dredd. The studio also revealed a new collaboration with X-Arcade that aims to bring a more physical pinball experience to virtual reality.

The announcements arrive ahead of the Chicago Pinball Expo, where Zen Studios will share a booth with X-Arcade from October 14 to 17. Visitors will get their first chance to try the new Arcade2TV Pinball FX Edition, a single-player controller developed in collaboration with Zen Studios and designed specifically for pinball. The hardware is intended to offer a more tactile way to play Pinball FX VR, with attendees also able to participate in a daily high-score challenge for a chance to win the controller and Zen Studios gift cards.

Beyond the new hardware, Zen Studios has announced Pinball FX Arcade, a business-to-business platform designed to bring its digital pinball library to public entertainment venues. The platform will allow third-party manufacturers to create virtual pinball machines for arcades, family entertainment centers, barcades, and other location-based entertainment businesses. Its initial lineup will feature classic Williams and Bally tables alongside Zen Originals, with additional games planned after launch.

Bump Pinball will serve as the platform’s first commercial manufacturing partner, with its machines expected to begin appearing at venues across France and the wider European market in late 2026. The company plans to expand into the United States in early 2027, potentially bringing Zen Studios’ pinball library to a broader audience beyond traditional home gaming setups.

Meanwhile, players have more digital tables to look forward to, with Zen Studios confirming that additional Williams Pinball tables will arrive during the holiday season. The studio plans to reveal the new additions in November, leaving fans to wait a little longer to discover which classics will join the lineup.

Before then, Judge Dredd is set to arrive in Pinball FX, Pinball FX Midnight, and Pinball FX VR on October 22. Attendees at the Chicago Pinball Expo will also have an opportunity to try the table at the X-Arcade booth before its official release. Zen Studios has shared a new VR trailer showcasing the upcoming table, offering another look at the comic book-inspired pinball experience.

The October 22 release date is also significant for Steam players, as Zen Studios is targeting the same day to introduce cross-entitlement between Pinball FX and Pinball FX Midnight on the platform. Similar functionality is already available on other platforms, and the planned implementation would allow Judge Dredd to benefit from the feature on Steam as well. The studio cautions that further details are still to come.

Finally, Pinball FX VR is scheduled to arrive on Steam Frame on October 14, adding another development to the studio’s plans for virtual reality pinball.

With new tables, dedicated hardware, and an arcade platform aimed at commercial venues, Zen Studios has several ways to expand its pinball offerings before the end of the year. More information about the upcoming Williams tables and the Steam cross-entitlement feature is expected in the weeks ahead.
