TEKKEN 8 has revealed more gameplay for Roger Jr., the third playable character joining the fighting game’s Season 3 lineup. Unveiled during EVO France, where JeonDDing claimed victory in the tournament, the Pocket Commander is preparing to return to the King of Iron Fist Tournament with a fighting style built around powerful attacks and devastating throws. Season 3 Character Pass owners can play as Roger Jr. starting November 12, followed by his wider release on November 17.

Roger Jr.’s return also comes with a new story involving his family and G Corporation. After dealing with his unfaithful father, Roger Jr. finds himself wrongly framed for the destruction of a G Corporation building. With his mother by his side, he sets out to track down those responsible and take down the corporation’s leader. Their journey puts the pair in the middle of a manhunt, giving the returning fighter a new reason to enter the fray.

Using his Commando Wrestling fighting style, Roger Jr. combines dynamic attacks with pro-wrestling throws to overwhelm opponents. His unusual partnership with his mother remains central to his identity, bringing a distinctive twist to TEKKEN 8’s roster of martial artists. The newly revealed gameplay offers another look at how the duo’s acrobatic movements and hard-hitting techniques translate to the latest entry in the long-running fighting game series.

Roger Jr. joins Kunimitsu and Bob as the third playable character announced for Season 3, with Yujiro Hanma still to come. His in-game appearance was also revealed, but players will have to wait until the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR Finals on January 17, 2027, for the next trailer showcasing his gameplay.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios, TEKKEN 8 is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
