He-Man and his fellow heroes are preparing to defend Eternia once again, with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction now set to launch on February 4, 2027. Publisher Limited Run Games and developer Bitmap Bureau announced the new release date alongside a fresh trailer for the side-scrolling beat ’em up, which will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Inspired by the classic 1980s animated series, Dragon Pearl of Destruction sees players take control of He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, and She-Ra as they battle Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, and their forces to prevent Eternia from falling into darkness. The adventure spans 13 action-packed stages, with each character bringing their own moves, abilities, and magical attacks to the fight.
The game also features a roster of familiar faces from the franchise, including Trap Jaw, Kobra Khan, and Orko, while Battle Cat joins the fight with claws unsheathed. Developed by Bitmap Bureau, the game aims to recapture the look and feel of the original cartoon through detailed pixel art and fast-paced arcade combat, giving the iconic heroes a new adventure rooted in their retro legacy.
With its February launch date now confirmed, fans can look forward to taking the fight to Skeletor across Eternia early next year.
