SNK has revealed Reina from Bandai Namco’s TEKKEN 8 as the final DLC fighter in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves’ Season 3 lineup. The crossover character will arrive in South Town in December 2026, bringing her lightning-fast fighting style to SNK’s latest entry in the long-running fighting game series.
Known as the Purple Lightning, Reina has quickly established herself as a fan favourite since her debut in TEKKEN 8. Beneath her cheerful demeanour lies a ruthless fighter, and her aggressive approach to combat is being adapted to City of the Wolves’ REV System for her guest appearance. Players can also look forward to English voice work by Kate Clarke and Japanese voice work by Asami Seto.
Reina completes Season 3’s seven-character roster, which follows the theme and tagline “Destined for Revenge.” The lineup also features returning Fatal Fury favourites Rick Strowd, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan, alongside Tokyo Revengers characters Mikey and Draken, who arrive together on October 22. Laocorn from Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture is scheduled to join the fight in November.
The collaboration also continues the relationship between the two fighting game franchises. Fatal Fury’s Geese Howard previously appeared as a guest character in TEKKEN 7, and now Reina is heading in the opposite direction to test her skills in South Town.
In her character profile, Reina’s background remains largely shrouded in mystery, beyond her attendance at Mishima Polytechnical School. After wandering into South Town, she decides to enter the King of Fighters tournament out of curiosity, leaving her true intentions an open question.
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Season 3 is available through a $19.99 USD / €19.99 Season Pass for players who already own the base game. The Revenge Edition, which includes the base game and all three season passes, is priced at $49.99 USD / €49.99 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Nintendo Switch 2 players can also preorder the digital Starter Edition for $29.99 USD / €29.99. This version includes the base game and Season Passes 1, 2, and 3 ahead of its October 22, 2026 release.
