Digital Sun has unveiled a new trailer for ReVamp during the latest Triple-i Showcase, confirming that its gothic Tower-Defensevania will launch on PC via Steam on March 25, 2027. The new footage offers another look at the unusual twist behind the game, which puts players in Dracula’s shoes as he defends his castle from waves of mortal heroes rather than hunting vampires himself.

From barbarians and armoured knights to zealous priests, invading forces will continually threaten Dracula’s stronghold, forcing players to rethink their defences as each assault grows more dangerous. Developed by the studio behind Moonlighter and Cataclismo, ReVamp combines room-by-room castle construction with tower defense strategy and direct action combat, allowing Dracula to take matters into his own hands when his monstrous forces cannot hold the line.

Players can reshape their castle between waves, turning its halls into deadly gauntlets with carefully placed rooms, perks, and decorations. Dracula can also dash through corridors, unleash brutal melee attacks, and wield blood-fuelled abilities against those who breach his defences. His army includes supernatural creatures such as werewolves and harpies, alongside stranger horrors, including a cyclops that weaponizes its own eye and a mimic capable of devouring adventurers searching for grimoires.

There is more at stake than simply keeping the castle standing. Cursed by the moon goddess Achlys, Dracula must spread darkness across the land in her honour, conquering cities in an endless campaign fuelled by his desire to bring his lost lover back to life. Each moonrise resets the siege, but the blood spilled by fallen invaders fuels permanent progression, unlocking new chambers, strengthening minions, and expanding the strategic options available for future battles.

Alongside the newly confirmed release date, Digital Sun has opened sign-ups for the game’s upcoming Steam playtest. The first wave of participants will gain access on October 29, 2026, with additional players admitted progressively throughout the testing period. Those hoping to improve their chances of joining can also follow the studio’s Discord community for updates, exclusive previews, and further opportunities to secure access.
