The Prince’s latest adventure is rolling onto another platform, as Once Upon A KATAMARI is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 alongside the launch of its new Rolling LIVE Highlights DLC. The Nintendo Switch 2 version brings improved graphics, a smoother frame rate, and exclusive mouse controls, while the new downloadable content introduces quests and music inspired by the mobile game Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE.
Players upgrading from the original Nintendo Switch version can transfer their save data to Nintendo Switch 2, provided no existing save data is already present on the new system. Meanwhile, Rolling LIVE Highlights is available across all platforms, adding 10 quests inspired by the mobile game’s livestreaming theme. The Prince will roll alongside Earth’s streamers, meet new cousins, and collect objects to help the King maintain his popularity and keep up with the latest trends.
Once Upon A KATAMARI sends The Prince and his Katamari across different periods of history, from the Jurassic Period and Ice Age to historic Japan, as players collect objects to restore the stars to the heavens. Alongside the series’ familiar music and a new soundtrack, the game features customization options for The Prince and his cousins, power-ups such as a magnet that attracts nearby objects, Katamari Ball, and competitive multiplayer.
Once Upon A KATAMARI and the Rolling LIVE Highlights DLC are available now on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
