The nightmare continues for Low and Alone as Little Nightmares III – The Shores is now available, adding a new area, puzzles, hazards and terrifying encounters to Supermassive Games’ horror adventure. The latest downloadable content takes the pair into The Shores, another unsettling corner of The Spiral where reaching a distant lighthouse will be anything but a simple journey.
Having once again travelled through the mirror, Low and Alone find themselves surrounded by flooded streets, abandoned houses and waterways where danger can be lurking beneath the surface. Their destination is the lighthouse beacon, but the route there will force them through a variety of new challenges, including submerged passages and filthy sewers filled with hazards.
One of the biggest threats awaiting them is The Leech Monster, which commands the leeches infesting the area. Getting too close to these creatures can quickly turn the journey into a struggle for survival, while the pair will also have to contend with dangerous waterways and environments that require them to carefully navigate their surroundings.
The Shores also introduces new puzzles and environmental hazards, with Low and Alone needing to deal with cracked valves, sharp propellers and submerged rooms as they make their way through the flooded area. The expansion continues Little Nightmares III’s emphasis on exploration and puzzle-solving while giving the duo another disturbing location to survive.
Little Nightmares III – The Shores is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. The DLC is included with the Deluxe Edition of Little Nightmares III and the Secrets of The Spiral Expansion Pass, while it can also be purchased separately.
