Indie developer SummerClip has announced that Ved: Recure will officially launch on Steam on September 22, bringing its full four-chapter adventure and expanded combat system to PC players.

Set in a mysterious game world, Ved: Recure puts players in control of seven playable characters, each with their own combat mechanics and progression paths. Rather than relying solely on traditional attacks, the game lets players build customized combat setups around its Buff Chain system, allowing different effects to be attached to specific actions.

Buffs can be assigned to moves such as Combo Finishers, Special Attacks, Dodge Counters, and Parries. Performing the corresponding action triggers the attached effects in sequence, giving players the ability to link different effects together and create more specialized combat strategies. With more than 150 Buffs and over 50 pieces of equipment available, players can tailor their builds around individual bosses or their preferred balance between offense and defense.

The full release also expands considerably beyond the game’s demo, featuring all four chapters of the main story alongside 16 bosses, Boss Rush, Endless Mode, and Training Grounds. SummerClip has also streamlined the game’s resource acquisition and progression systems ahead of launch.

Ved: Recure will additionally feature a full Japanese voice-over, with the cast including Ikumi Hasegawa, Tomoyo Takayanagi, Mai Kadowaki, and others.

Ved: Recure launches on Steam on September 22, 2026.
