KONAMI has teamed up with legendary British comic publisher 2000 AD for an original comic story set in the world of SILENT HILL: Townfall.
Titled SILENT HILL: Townfall – The Dock House, the story was written by Jon McKellan, the upcoming game’s writer and director, with acclaimed Nemesis the Warlock artist David Roach providing the pencils. The story serves as an official narrative companion to the game while offering another glimpse at the isolated island community of St. Amelia.
The story follows Douglas, a veteran harbor master who has spent decades looking after the island’s dock house. His monotonous life surrounded by fog and isolation takes a terrifying turn when he discovers an impossible staircase descending beneath the harbor, leading him toward something hidden beneath St. Amelia.
The Dock House will be included in 2000 AD Prog 2500, the publisher’s landmark issue. It will be available digitally worldwide on September 16, with physical copies following on September 30 in North America. The issue will also be available digitally through the 2000 AD Webstore and App, with print distribution handled by Lunar Distribution.
The collaboration brings together two distinctly British horror traditions, with SILENT HILL: Townfall’s Scottish island setting providing a natural fit for 2000 AD. According to 2000 AD Editor-in-Chief Matt Smith, the comic was a strong match for the publisher’s horror-focused storytelling, while McKellan described the project as an exciting opportunity to expand the game’s world and see Roach bring the story to life.
SILENT HILL: Townfall will launch for PlayStation 5, Steam, and Epic Games Store on September 24, 2026. It is currently available for pre-purchase.
