LEVEL-5 is bringing Yo-kai Watch 2 back with a substantial new version for Nintendo Switch 2. Revealed during the latest Nintendo Direct, Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain will revisit the original adventure with revamped visuals alongside new content.
While LEVEL-5 has not announced a release date yet, the developer says Haunted Domain will retain what made Yo-kai Watch 2 special while completely reworking its graphics. The project will also go beyond a visual overhaul, with additional story content and new Yo-kai being developed for the game.
That makes Haunted Domain more than a straightforward return for the classic Yo-kai Watch adventure, particularly for players who have already experienced the original.
A teaser trailer was shown as part of the announcement, giving an early look at the updated presentation. LEVEL-5 has yet to reveal when Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain will launch on Nintendo Switch 2.
