NIS America has announced that it will release a physical edition of FuRyu and Winning Entertainment Group’s survival third-person shooter ANOMALITH for PlayStation 5 in the West on November 12.

ANOMALITH will first launch digitally worldwide on October 29 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. In Japan, physical editions will also be available for PlayStation 5 and Switch 2, with the latter releasing as a game-key card.

The Western physical edition for PlayStation 5 will be priced at $59.99 and include a selection of bonus content. This includes the “Lost Property Control Organization” collaboration mission, along with the “T-6407 J.” outfit and Drone Skin. Players will also receive the “Blue Casual Punk,” “Armed Schoolgirl,” and “Delivery Staff” outfits, as well as three outfit sets with two colour variations.

Additional bonuses include several consumable item sets, including the “Anomaly Zone Diver Set (A),” “Development Material Set,” and “Anomaly Zone Countermeasures Office Set,” along with 20 Handgun Ammo. The physical edition will also include the Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle, Double-Barreled Shotgun, and Prototype Handgun.

Set in the year 19**, ANOMALITH takes place in a world where mysterious spatial anomalies known as “Otherworlds” have suddenly appeared. The government’s Danger Zone Countermeasures Office has struggled to contain the threat or determine its origins, leaving investigator Reona Minazuki to uncover the truth.

Reona has awakened after spending 10 years inside an anomaly known as the “Sarcophogus” and has developed a unique sensitivity to the Otherworlds. Alongside her colleagues and commanding officers, she must investigate the anomalies, protect humanity, and help a dear friend.

ANOMALITH combines third-person shooting with survival and exploration elements. Players will explore bizarre environments shaped by the Otherworlds, including locations such as an apartment with inverted gravity and a seemingly endless train. Enemies behave unpredictably, requiring players to carefully manage their resources and stay aware of their surroundings.

Combat includes ranged weapons as well as melee attacks that can be used against stunned enemies. Reona can also acquire and upgrade active and passive abilities through the game’s Demi-Humanization System, allowing players to develop new ways of dealing with the threats they encounter.

Players will have access to a wide selection of weapons, attachments, outfits, and artifacts, with some artifacts capable of providing additional abilities or affecting luck. Reona’s appearance can also be extensively customized, with more than 300 items available across nine different parts of her outfit.

Between missions, players can return to their home base to interact with a variety of characters, unlock upgrades, and learn more about the world and its threats. Exploration of the Otherworlds will also allow players to collect more than 200 investigation reports detailing the behaviour and mysteries surrounding different anomalies and other objects.

ANOMALITH features a notable lineup of developers and artists, including scenario lead Romeo Tanaka, known for Stella of the End and Humanity Has Declined; character designer MON, who has worked on Nisio Isin’s Legends Series; and composer Yuka Kitamura, whose credits include Elden Ring, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne, Dark Souls III, and Witch Hat Atelier.

ANOMALITH will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and PC via Steam on October 29, with the physical PlayStation 5 edition following in the West on November 12.
