Coinciding with the announcement, a brand-new trailer has been released, offering a glimpse of what players can expect from the Closed Alpha Test.
NAKWON: LAST PARADISE is a third-person multiplayer zombie survival game set in the urban ruins of Seoul, South Korea. Players must venture into the city in the dead of night and manage their shelter by day. They must infiltrate the city full of zombies and other survivors to scavenge valuable resources and use them to prove their worth in an emerging post-apocalyptic order. Survival is the only rule — trust no one, not even the living.

NAKWON: LAST PARADISE’s Closed Alpha Test features an arsenal that has been significantly expanded beyond the Pre-Alpha Test to include over 60 melee weapons and 7 ranged weapons, enabling more diverse combat and strategic approaches. In addition, 6 new types of Special Infected—previously unavailable in the Pre-Alpha—have been introduced. The gameplay environment now features daytime, nighttime and heavy rain weather conditions, offering players a more diverse gameplay experience. Since the Pre-Alpha, the shelter has evolved into a fully interactive 3D living space where crafting workbenches can be placed and players can create essential items that can help in expeditions or housing features that provide survival benefits.
Three New Firearms: The Revolver, Pistol and Double-Barrel Shotgun are the latest additions to the firearm lineup.

Six New Special Infected Types: Previously unavailable in the Pre-Alpha Test, six new Special Infected have been added including Runner, Screamer, Gatherer, Armored, Butcher and the Policeman. Each Special Infected obtains unique appearances and behavioral traits that require different tactical approaches. Their traits reflect who they were before the infection, shaping both their appearance and combat behavior. Regardless of type, however, all infected are highly sensitive to loud noises and certain areas may attract large numbers of the infected, so caution is advised.

Three New Environment Settings: Gameplay will now feature Daytime, Nighttime and Heavy Rain environmental settings. New screenshots of Jongno South highlight the contrast between daytime and nighttime settings, as the map now expands beyond its previously dark environment to include daytime and heavy rain conditions. Heavy rain muffles sound, making it harder for both infected and players to detect one another and adding a new layer of tension to encounters.

Housing Content: Players can place a wide variety of furniture in their shelter to help their chances of survival. Upgrading the workbench allows crafting of more useful items, refrigerators prolong the shelf life of consumables, and other housing items let players personalize their shelter to their liking. As players advance in Citizen Rank, their shelter is upgraded, offering more functional and accommodating living spaces.

Skill Tree: Traits are essential for survival in NAKWON. With the newly added character level progression, players can earn trait points and increase their survivability using a variety of active and passive skills.
