D4 Enterprise has announced that on July 10, it will released Compile’s Zanac EX (MSX2), on the Nintendo Switch as part of the EGGCONSOLE linup.
To explain more abut this version, while the original MSX version has already been released as part of the EGGCONSOLE lineip, Zanac EX is a reworked version and similiar to Zanac on the Famicom Disc System, with both games being reworked versions of of the game with smoother scrolling, visuals and other vast improvements. While the FCDS version is widely acclaimed as one of the best versions, this MSX version is also held up as a classic and well worth checking out.
The game will only be available in Japanese, even on the European and North American eShop versions, but as it is a SHMUP, this will not be an issue.
