The Natsume Atari subsidiary Tengo Project has started to tease a new game, specifically a remake of Shadow of the Ninja, a side-scrolling action game originally released for Nintendo Entertainment System in August 1990.

The video sees Tengo Project composer Hiroyuki Iwatsuki visiting Natsume’s former “super composer” Iku Mizutani in Osaka, where Mizutani is told that Tengo Project is currently working on a remake of one of Natsume Atari’s past titles that Mizutani worked on, and Mizutani is asked to handle the music once again. As the video goes on. Mizutani is asked if he remembers how the game’s music goes, whereupon he plays a short sample on his guitar, namely the Shadow of the Ninja title screen music. Mizutani then goes on to play more of the music while shots of the remake are shown in small bursts, ending with the text, “Please wait for more news!”
