Hamster has announced that Arcade Archives Dead Connection will be released a standalone title on Nintendo Switch and PS4 later this month.
The run n gun game was developed for Taito’s F1 system hardware, and featured film-noir aspects. It was originally released in the arcades back in 1992 and recently was included in the Taito Milestones 3 collection, released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in late 2024.
Notably, this is the last game from that collection to get a standalone release, as the other exclusives to the collection, Warrior Blade and Thunder Fox have recently received Arcade Archives releases. This release also marks the game’s debut on PlayStation 4 and also the first standalone re-release of the game since it initially released in arcades.
Arcade Archives Dead Connection will arrive on Switch and PS4 on February 27th.
