Nintendo has announced the Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program, which is intended to test a new feature for the service. In order to participate, you will need to be a member of the Expansion Pack tier, live in Japan, The United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, or Spain and be 18 years to be eligible.
Nintendo doesn’t specify what the feature for Nintendo Switch Online: Playtest Program is, and those that are selected will find out when it actually begins.
Users can apply via the application website from October 10 at 8:00 p.m. PT / 11:00 p.m. ET until October 15 at 7:59 p.m. PT / 10:59 p.m. ET. As many as 10,000 users can be accepted with the recruitment period ending on October 15, or if the participant limit is reached before then. The playtest period will take place between October 23 and November 5.
Users will need to download exclusive software to their Switch in order to participate. As of now, that is all we know.
