Power up your warp engines, brave heroes! Mega Cat Studios is thrilled to announce that our legendary shmup, ZPF, is pressing start on Steam! Developed by the dynamic duo of Mikael Tillander of Tanzer glory and Perry Sessions from Super XYX, with a soundtrack by the legendary Jamie Vance, ZPF has blown its initial funding goal out of the sky and the team is now expanding their horizons to a PC near you.
To celebrate our quantum leap into the digital realm, our latest Kickstarter tier, Digital Revelry, is now live! This tier includes a ZPF Steam key and a trove of digital treasures. It’s the perfect package for those who want to dive deep into the ZPF universe from the comfort of their computer chair. Already pledged for a physical copy? Fear not! You can add a Steam key to any existing physical pledge via Add-ons.
While the world can expect the digital public release shortly after Kickstarter fulfillment, backers who choose Steam as an add-on will enjoy an exclusive backer discount of $5! As an added bonus, all campaign backers will have their names included in the Steam version’s credits. Backers of the Knights of Legend tier will see their names featured exclusively on the cartridge version, acknowledging their crucial role in the game’s development.
But the rewards just keep coming! In response to popular demand, ZPF will feature a stunning Japanese variant cover in addition to the Sega Genesis and Mega Drive styles. Backers will be able to choose their preferred variant through the BackerKit surveys post-campaign, adding a personalized touch to their collection.
For fans of the game’s music, the ZPF CD Audio Soundtrack is now available as an add-on! The CD version will include additional tracks by acclaimed composer Jamie Vance and a special remix by TenNoKoe, further enhancing the gaming experience with even more electrifying tunes.
