Last year, it was reported that there was progress being made on re-releases of the Discworld adventure games that were released in the 90s, but radio silence since then. Now, there arises a possibility.
Much like we reported with Skies of Arcade, and Castlevania, gamers have a chance to bring these classic games to PC. GOG.com has a feature to allow gamers to vote on what classic games the site will seek out to bring to the store and add as part of the GOG Preservation Program, and Discworld, Discworld II: Mortality Bytes!, and Discworld Noir have all been added to the Dreamlist for voting.
At this time, the games have 30,806, votes, 17, 921 votes, and 22,066 votes respectively, the with votes still coming in. This is not a guarantee that the games will be added yet, but if enough people vote then we may yet see GOG take action to bring the games back for all.
