Game*Spark’s parent company Iid has announced a delay for the physical Nintendo Switch release of Wizardry: The Five Ordeals in Japan to February 27, 2025, but the digital version will still be release on January 30.
It turns out the reason for this delay is that there was such an overwhelming amount of pre-orders made for both the regular and collector editions that company was not able to procure enough materials to produce the items included in the copies of the collector edition in time. This also explains why the digital release is not affected, because the game itself is ready.
While Wizardry: The Five Ordeals is already available on Steam, with full English language support that was added in August 2022, it is not known yet if the new Switch port will also include English language options or not and if the game will come West on Switch or not.
