Dead Mage and Humble Games have released the first major content update, “Sky Citadel,” for Wizard of Legend 2, the exciting action-packed roguelite sequel on Steam Early Access. Taking Wizards to the grand Sky Citadel castle biome inspired by the first game, this aerial fortress is reimagined with new enemies, bosses, and more. To take them down, try out the long-awaited return of the Dash Arcana and interact with new NPCs to power up and adapt your strategies along the way.
With new architecture, unique enemies, and an original musical score, the Sky Citadel biome offers fresh twists and surprises to challenge any and all Wizards that would step into its halls, corridors, pathways, and more. With 12 new enemies, some inspired by fan-favorite foes from the first game, every run is different from the last. Strategize and power up before taking on the new Royal Spear Knight miniboss and the Sky Citadel’s rulers, the King and Queen, in the final boss fight of this update.
To ensure every encounter feels thrilling, Dead Mage has reworked elemental bosses in later chapters to match your growing arsenal of relics and arcana. The Earth Boss Terrus has gained new earth-shattering abilities to better embody the power of his element. The returning Dash Arcana is sure to help Wizards take them down, with over 15 options – some returning favorites and some brand new – to offer additional tactical depth. Talk to Esme, an old-school painter who can enhance your arcana cards for gold, and Dr. Song, who studies healing arcana, to enhance your strategies in combat.
