Today, INTI CREATES has announced that a demo for their upcoming 2D action game, Umbraclaw, is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
Umbraclaw tells the story of Kuon, a house cat who has died in the mortal world, after she awakens in the Soulplane, a realm of the dead. She must challenge the perilous underworld to return home to her owner in this 2D action adventure.
Taking the helm of development on Umbraclaw, Blaster Master Zero director Satoru Nishizawa will show that cats are not just cute, but cool heroes as well. The game also features an enchanting, art-book graphical style with a hint of darkness that reflects its story.
Players looking to try out the feline action game before it releases May 30th are encouraged to try the demo, available on the eShop product page.
Along with the tutorial, you’ll get access to the hub stage, the Soultrail, and two more stages—the Crag Plains and Anabranch Forest—where you’ll fight the bosses Alice and Galvestone.
Get a feel for Kuon’s gameplay, the Anima Revive system, and all the ways you’ll be able to level up Kuon in the demo.
