Tiny Thor Releasing On August 3rd on Nintendo Switch

Today, Gameforge—a leading Western publisher of MMORPGs—announced that 16-bit pixel platformer Tiny Thor will be available on Nintendo Switch on August 3rd. The PC version will get an update on July 31st that will introduce bug fixes as well as an accessibility mode to make easier gameplay optional for beginners.

Developed by Asylum Square and published by Gameforge under its IndieForge publishing label, Tiny Thor marries old-school indie charm with tight controls and modern gameplay.

Recently released on PC to critical acclaim, Tiny Thor features 16-bit graphics and gameplay centered around using a mini-Mjölnir as players lead our pint-sized Norse protagonist through 36 challenging levels filled with all kinds of obstacles. Use the mighty hammer and its unlockable power-ups to travel the realms of Asgard, defeating an army of adversaries dead set on stopping Thor in his tracks.

Increasing the nostalgia further, Tiny Thor features art from veteran pixel artist Henk Nieborg (Spyro: A Hero’s Tail, Contra 4, Shantae series) and an original soundtrack from Chris Hülsbeck (Star Wars: Rogue Squadron, Turrican).

Tiny Thor releases on Nintendo Switch on August 3rd for €19.99, £16.75, $19.99 USD, and $25.99 CAD. Tiny Thor is currently available for the same pricing on Windows PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Players can also pick up the Tiny Thor Ragnarok n’ Roll Edition, including the game and the official soundtrack, on PC for €25/$25 USD.
