Independent game developer and publisher The Behemoth is excited to announce that Alien Hominid Invasion and Alien Hominid HD are now available for Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox!
The games have co-launched to the three platforms, where both titles are available for purchase in a discounted bundle. The pricing in USD is as follows:
- Alien Hominid Invasion – $19.99
- Alien Hominid HD – $11.99
- Alien Hominid: The Extra Terrestrial Bundle – $24.99 for both games
Initially brought to life as a flash game on Newgrounds 21 years ago, Alien Hominid’s charming hand-drawn animations and exciting side-scroller level design inspired the formation of The Behemoth. The team went on to further develop Alien Hominid for console, followed by Castle Crashers, BattleBlock Theater, and Pit People. Two decades later, Alien Hominid HD returns alongside the launch of Alien Hominid Invasion, preserving Behemoth history while expanding upon it in new ways!
Marking the studio’s fifth release, Alien Hominid Invasion revisits the Alien Hominid universe with modern gameplay mechanics and exciting customization options, all while staying true to its chaotic, co-op, run ‘n’ gun roots. Online and local co-op will allow for up to four players to join in on the fun, with the added capability for each player to choose their own difficulty and play across skill gaps.
