Developer Terarin Games, known for titles such as Raging Blasters, Star Gagnant, and Terra Flame, is going in a new direction for its next shmup title with Missile Dancer 2, the sequel to 2021’s Missile Dancer.
Missile Dancer was a vertical scroller, but this sequel is trying something different and will instead play like After Burner/After Burner II from SEGA AM2, complete with plenty of sprite rotation and smoke effects and more.
Terarin Games has shown off footage that reveals the existence of a tutorial, in addition to arcade and caravan modes, with the arcade mode being shown to feature seven separate stages.
While there is no release date yet, Terarin Games has announced the game is in development for Steam and Nintendo Switch.
