Hamster Corporation this week releases yet another rarity for their Arcade Archives line that has never had a home port until now. That game is Tecmo and NMK’s extremely rare Cabal-like shoot em up Riot!

Just like in Cabal you are in a pseudo 3D third person view shooting down enemy terrorists and all sorts of supernatural monsters with a crosshair. Unlike Cabal though enemies can also appear behind your character. You can shoot from the front and the back. Also you have a roll button so you can dodge enemy fire and quickly hide behind a wall for protection. This game has 2 player co-op.  Fans of Cabal, Dynamite Duke, NAM-1975, Wild Guns, Sin & Punishment and other similar gallery shooters should not pass this one up. Its a lot of fun!

As of this article Riot is on the Japanese Nintendo Switch eshop and PSN marketplaces. It will be posted in the west tomorrow for $7.99 USD. Here is the trailer below.
