SUNSOFT has been making its way back into the gaming limelight with remakes, remasters and brand-new titles. and have been discussing a lot of these titles via live-streams on YouTube. One of thhe company’s recent showcases may have had a sneak tease of something coming soon.
During a the recent SUNSOFT live-stream, an image of a Switch was shown, with one being for a game we have not has an announcement for yet. “SUNSOFT is Back!: Retro Game Selection” is the name of this title, and it is easy to guess that this is for a new collection. As for what games may be included, wel SUNSOFT did run a campfire crowdfunding campaign last year for reissues of three of their popular Famicom games: Wing of Madoola, Tokaido, and Ripple Island. It is possible the campaign did well enough for an English localization as well.
Whatever this collection ends up being, it will certainly find an audience amogn fans of classic gaming.
