FunPlus, one of the world’s largest independent game companies, is launching a crossover event with their game State of Survival and the iconic fighting game series, The King of Fighters XV!
In this brand new in-game story, Mai Shiranui, driven by her pursuit of true martial arts mastery, and B. Jenet, who has secured a deal with the sponsor GigaCorp, fight their way to the finals in a grand tournament. Suddenly during the tournament several eliminated fighters mutate before everyone’s eyes, and the arena is thrown into chaos. Mai, B. Jenet, and their former rivals from the Settlement set aside old grudges to unite against a new threat and uncover the sinister plot behind the tournament.

Each hero will have two quality tiers – Standard and Special Operative:

Both Standard and Special Operative heroes can resonate with regular heroes to improve stats and unlock skills.

Clue Collection: Complete tasks to earn rewards.

Card Collection: Players can collect cards by opening packs or completing tasks.

Jigsaw Puzzle: Players must complete the puzzle within a set timeframe to clear the level.

Match-3 Mode: Features both PvE and PvP modes. Each match has a set number of moves. Match tiles to earn points.

Monster Hunter: Defeat various types of zombies on the world map to earn points. Reach point milestones to unlock rewards. Rewards include general resources and crossover store tokens.

Rock-Paper-Scissors: A two-player PvP mode inspired by rock-paper-scissors. Each round, both players choose an action: defend, attack, power up, or use a special move. Losing the round means losing some HP.

Tile-Matching Mode: Tap a highlighted card to add it to the slots below. When three identical cards are in the slots, they are automatically cleared. Clear all the cards on the screen to win the level and advance to the next one.
In addition to the game features and new heroes, there will be an H5 event on May 22nd where players can earn crossover items by sharing the event once a week and by inviting friends. The event also includes returning players.
