Legendary game developer Koji Tsuchida is coming back with a new game. For those who are unaware, Tsuchida has a long history when it comes to comes to space-based 3D shooters, having worked on the Sharp X68000 title Star Wars: Attack on the Death Star in 1991, Shadow Squadron on the Sega 32X in 1995, and its Sega Saturn sequel Stellar Assault SS in 1998.
Tsuchida has announced on X/Twitter that he is returning to make a new game in this style with old coworkers, noting:
“I’m making a game with the programmer of the X68k version of STAR WARS. I don’t know what will happen yet though, lol”
Before we can get excited about this, however, it must be noted that the developers are only a month into development and are taking things slowly for now.
