Hello Games and Ghost Town Games, the developer behind the Overcooked! series, have announced Stage Fright, a new two-player cooperative adventure coming to Switch 2, Switch, and PC via Steam in 2027.

Stage Fright is designed specifically around two-player cooperation, with players exploring a mysterious town, solving escape room-style puzzles, overcoming obstacles, and working together to uncover an ancient mystery. The game can be played online or locally, with its challenges focused more on communication and teamwork than precise controls.

Players will follow Drew, Blake, and Charlie through a coming-of-age story featuring memorable characters and two different perspectives. The story will allow players to switch between pairs of kids as they explore the town and gradually piece together the mystery surrounding it.

The game is being developed with accessibility and a pick-up-and-play approach in mind, while still incorporating the chaotic cooperative moments that fans of Ghost Town Games’ previous work may recognize. Stage Fright is currently planned to launch for Switch 2, Switch, and PC in 2027.
