Today, SEGA officially announced that the free Captain Majima content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be available on Wednesday, April 29 at 5:00 PM PT. Players will be able to compete for first place as Captain Majima! Starting Thursday, April 30 at 5:00 PM PT and until Sunday, May 3, 4:59 PM PT fans can jump in and earn festival points for decals, gadgets and more! The free Captain Majima Content Drop includes the following:

Goro Majima (Captain Majima) as a playable character

Goro Majima (Captain Majima)’s vehicle, the Goromaru

Special emotes and sounds
Additionally, new players can get in on the action during the Sonic Racing: CrossWorld’s Steam Free Weekend starting on Thursday, April 30 at 10:00 AM PT through Monday, May 4 10:00 AM PT. Sonic Racing: CrossWorld’s will also be featured in SEGA’s Steam Golden Week Sale from Thursday, April 23 at 10:00 AM PT through Thursday, May 7 at 10:00 AM PT, where racers can pick up the title at 40% off.
Players who own either the Standard (physical or digital) or Digital Deluxe versions of the game will automatically receive the free Captain Majima Content Drop. Please ensure that the game is updated to the latest version for the content to be downloaded properly.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now both digitally and physically on PlayStation®5 (PS5®), PlayStation®4 (PS4®), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC starting at $69.99 USD and on Nintendo Switch™, Nintendo Switch™- OLED Model, Nintendo Switch™ Lite starting at $59.99 USD. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is also available digitally and physically for players at $69.99 USD.
