Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have surprised Tomb Raider fans with the release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch 2. Available now for $39.99, the action-adventure game also comes with a 10% launch discount through November 4.
The final entry in Lara Croft’s Survivor Trilogy brings her origin story to a close, sending players into a race to stop a Mayan apocalypse. The adventure spans dangerous jungles, deadly tombs, and the legendary Incan city of Paititi, with stealth, exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat all playing key roles in Lara’s fight against the shadowy organization Trinity.
The Definitive Edition includes all seven DLC challenge tombs, downloadable side missions, weapons, outfits, and skills, along with two-player online co-op.
Switch 2 players can also pick up the newly released Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy collection for $69.99, with a limited-time 10% discount also available through November 4. The bundle includes Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, bringing all three games, their DLC, and online modes together in one package.
Both releases are available now on Nintendo Switch 2, giving players the option to jump into Lara Croft’s concluding adventure or experience the complete Survivor Trilogy.
