PAC-MAN is taking another bite out of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override, with Bandai Namco Entertainment America announcing a fresh batch of content inspired by the legendary arcade icon. The latest additions bring new enemies, companions and cosmetics to Epic Games’ battle royale, expanding on the PAC-MAN-themed content that has already appeared across the island.
Players can now encounter Mecha Ghosts, new Mini Bosses modeled after the classic pixelated Ghosts from PAC-MAN. These enemies can be found roaming across the Fortnite island, with increased spawn rates on the newly introduced PAC-MAN-themed islands. Taking down one of these formidable foes rewards players with high-tier Mythic loot, giving them another reason to seek out the arcade-inspired additions during their matches.
The collaboration also introduces a new PAC-MAN Sprite companion based on Blinky from the PAC-MAN: Snack Breaks animated YouTube series. Players can acquire the Sprite by following the instructions found at the in-game Cheat Panel, with the companion providing a useful passive ability. When its player takes damage, the Sprite can cloak them and grant invincibility, potentially giving players a valuable opportunity to escape a dangerous situation.
The Mecha Ghosts and PAC-MAN Sprites will be available in Fortnite from now through October 31, 2026.
Starting September 19 and running through September 25, the Fortnite Item Shop will also feature the limited-time PAC-MAN Sidekick alongside a selection of arcade-inspired cosmetics. The animated Sidekick follows players around during matches, remaining invincible while adding PAC-MAN-inspired music jingles, sound effects and a dedicated Sidekick Emote to the experience.
The Item Shop lineup will also include PAC-MAN Back Bling that cycles between Cherry, Orange and Galaxian imagery as players score eliminations, along with PAC-MAN Gloves Pickaxe, new Kicks footwear and additional cosmetics.
These additions expand on the PAC-MAN content already available as part of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override. Players can explore PAC-MAN Island, BLINKY Island and PINKY Island, while various Easter eggs have been scattered throughout the island, including PAC-MAN arcade machines and clouds modeled after PAC-MAN and the Ghosts.
With the latest additions, Fortnite’s PAC-MAN collaboration is becoming considerably more than a collection of cosmetics, bringing recognizable elements from the classic arcade series directly into the battle royale’s gameplay.
