Today SQUARE ENIX® released OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, the latest standalone entry in the critically acclaimed OCTOPATH TRAVELER RPG series, for Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam® and Microsoft Store.

In OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, players will experience a story of restoration and retribution over the divine rings in an epic saga that unfolds across the realm of Orsterra. The game features returning core elements from the series, and–for the first time in series history–players will be able to customize their own protagonist and rebuild their hometown after it has been destroyed with the new town build feature. The story builds upon that of the mobile game OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent, adding new story content where players rebuild their town, and reinterpreted story beats unfold throughout. Fans familiar with the series can enjoy the return of its iconic HD-2D art style, the ability to interact with other characters in various ways through Path Actions, and the Break and Boost battle system which can turn the tide of battle.
The OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 consumer demo is available now for all platforms, allowing players to create their own custom protagonist and play up to three hours of content, including the beginning Prologue and Chapter 1 of the Master of Wealth, Master of Power and Master of Fame story arcs. Within those three hours, players can also experience Chapter 1 of the Kindlers of the Flame story arc, which allows them to try the all-new Town Building feature to restore their hometown of Wishvale. Save data can be carried over to the full game once purchased.
Additionally, there is a Save Data Bonus Campaign for OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, which allows players who have save data or play data for relevant demos from OCTOPATH TRAVELER, OCTOPATH TRAVELER II, BRAVELY DEFAULT FLYING FAIRY HD Remaster, DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake or DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake on their system (or purchase history of these titles on accounts for some systems) to redeem bonus items in OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0.
