Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition is coming to Switch, according to a new rating from the ESRB. According to the rating description, it includes 2D challenges and platformers with different modes such as speedrun and survival.

This is a collection of 2D challenges and platformer games in which players traverse through various modes (e.g., speedrun, survival). Several challenges involve reaching specific points, while others prompt players to defeat small enemies or survive brief battles. Some games depict pixelated characters using small swords or arrows to strike at enemies; enemies typically get stunned or disappear in a flash.

The Nintendo World Championships first began in 1990, and saw players competed in mini-games based on Super Mario Bros. Rad Racer, and Tetris. Recently the well known leaker, Pyoro, who has an accurate track record, teased something NWC related on social media and has since clarified that it is not a free game.

It is possible this will be a new take on NES Remix but it is still too early to say until we receive a trailer or official announcement,
