Several Nintendo Switch games will be getting Nintendo Switch 2 updates and while most will cost, not all will.
Nintendo has confirmed it will offer free updates for a number of Switch 1 games on Switch 2, with twelve confirmed as of now.
Nintendo has stated that by downloading free updates, they “may improve performance or add support for features such as GameShare”, but what is planned will differ for each game.
