Nintendo is not one for doing price hikes all that often but it does happen from time to time and it is happening now affecting those in some Latin American countries. To be specific, Nintendo has announced that it will be raising the price of Nintendo Switch Online plans in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and other Latin American locations, starting on March 1st, 2025. At this time, Nintendo hasn’t given any reason for why the cost is increasing.

Nintendo has said that customers purchasing by Feb. 28th, 2025 can lock in a subscription at the current price. Starting on March 1st though, here is what the pricing will look like:

  • Mexico: MX$ 1,599 to MX$ 1,999
  • Brazil: R$ 262,99 to R$ 299,00
  • Argentina: $76.899,00 to $93.079
