One of Nintendo’s most infamous flops was the ill-fated Virtual Boy. This attempt to break into VR back in the 90s sold poorly and ended up blemishing the record of Gunpei Yokoi at Nintendo.
The system has numerous issues including its black and red visuals for the games, which caused headaches for gamers.
Despite this, many still wish to see the games come back in some form, and there may be good news on that front.
Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed Nintendo has an official Virtual Boy emulator for the Nintendo Switch, which will run the games on that system.
Before you get too excited however, the emulator is being used to a Switch to emulate the Virtual Boy at the Nintendo Museum in Japan, but there does not seem to be anything preventing them from using this for commercial released Switch systems.
What do you think? Would you want to play Virtual Boy games on Switch?
