A new internal GameStop memo has revealed that Nintendo is officially ending production of the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle. The memo states that “This bundle SKU has now reached end of lifecycle, and additional units will no longer be produced. Future replenishment of Nintendo Switch 2 will be the base console.”
Nintendo previously states that the Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle would be a limited time offer, so once retailers sell any stock they have left, that will be all. It is worth getting as on its own, Mario Kart World costs $80 USD, while buying the bundle at $500 USD meant saving $30 USD.
That being said, Nintendo has already started producing new bundles such as the Pokemon Legends Z-A bundle, so there is little doubt that we’ll be seeing more Nintendo Switch 2 bundles in the future, and Nintendo may bring the bundle back at some point.
