There were reports going around that the physical versions of Nintendo Switch 2 Enhanced games would have the Nintendo Switch version on cart, but would only have the new content as a download key.
Thankfully. this is not actually the case. Nintendo Prime reached out to MyNintendo to inquire about the matter and received the response that Switch 2 Enhanced games will contain the new content on the physical cart. The only instance of receiving a code, is if you are buying the new content for an already owned Switch 1 game on Switch 2
As such, we can safely say the rumors are not true and there is no need to worry there.
