At Comic Con 2024. first details were shared about the next wave of DLC for Mortal Kombat 1 known as Khaos Reigns. You can see the official art above shown at the panel below.
Six new characters are planned for the future. Ghostface, Noob Saibit, Sektor, Cyrax, Conan, and T-1000 are all confirmed for the fighter as from the previous leak.
Noob Saibot has a new look, but it is Sektor and Cyrax who have received the biggest changes, though, as NetherRealm has revealed that both characters are female in this universe. Sektor voice actor Erika Ishii further stated that the character is not even a robot like in past entries and still human this time.
Ghostface appears accurate to the Scream movies while the T-1000 uses Robert Patrick’s likeness which was digitally scanned in, and he will return to voice the character. As for Conan, this version will be based on the Arnold Schwarzenegger portrayal of the character, meaning Arnold Schwarzenegger has made appearances in back to back Mortal Kombat games after his likeness was used for the Terminator in Mortal Kombat 11, but it is not known if he will voice Conan this time.
Khaos Reigns is comprised of new story chapters and Kombat Pack 2. A bundle will be available conmtaining Khaos Reigns and Kombat Pack 1, while Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot will be available on release to kick off Kombat Pack 2 with Ghostface, T-1000, and Conan are coming later. Those who pre-order will receive the Wedding Scorpion, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Sub-Zero, Empress Mileena, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Noob Saibot skins. In addition Animalities are making a return and will be offered to all players as a free update.
