One Mega Drive / Genesis game that has been getting a lot of attention recently is Earthion, the new shmup from Yuzo Koshiro’s Ancient studio.
The game recently had a showing at the Tokyo Game Show with a new playable demo. The new demo showed off a new boss battle and highlighted the amazing visual effects the game has.
Earthion will be released in 2025, with Limited Run Games handling physical distribution, and will also come to modern-day systems.
