The demand is high for a new Dino Crisis but Capcom is not giving fans what they want. That is not stopping fans from taking matters into their own hands and a new mod for Doom 2 is one such instance. The mod, Operation Ibis Island is available to download on ModDB and this creation by user ‘Laser_DooM,’ recreates the vibes of Capcom’s classic Dino Crisis across a brand new map, that includes new weapons, levels, and enemies.
The mod states:
Inspired by the iconic Dino Crisis game. In this thrilling map, you’ll find yourself navigating through a meticulously recreated environment reminiscent of the tense atmosphere from the original game.
It may not be an official new game, but this should be something for all Dino Crisis fans to sink their teeth into.
