Goblin Auto Club Manager is a mix of Auto Battler and Auto Racing game but does have some variations. For instance, you can control the pit stops and boosts in the game, but the core of the experience will be planning out what to do, understanding the stands and observing progress. It sounds simple but is somehow very addictive
Tuning the car is also a major component as you would expect and this will require a lot of attention. Knowing how to customize the vehicle and how to arrange the pit strategies can take a bit of time to figure out but is extremely satisfying one you do. Boosting costs health, while putting will restore your health, and the health will affect the speed the care moves at. This is the real meat of the game and it manages to draw you in and make you satisfied.
I have to admit that I am not a fan of auto battler games, and so Goblin Auto Club Manager doing something very different with the genre has helped serve as a bit of a gateway for me. Learning the stats and strategies involved, as well as each track’s differences that need to be considered proved to be an experience I truly enjoyed when I did not expect to. This is a game about logic and will have you constantly rethinking your strategy in order to succeed.
I have to also say that while I like Goblin Auto Club Manager, I am not sure it is a game for everyone. The gameplay can seem basic on the surface and many will probably dismiss the game out of hand. If you spend the time to really understand Goblin Auto Club Manager though, you will find it is something wonderful to be enjoyed.
