There has been a debate for a few months over how powerful the Switch 2 is with regards to other systems. For instance, is it closer to the PS4 or the Xbox Series S? Well the system is out no and we have seen many tech teardowns and analysis on the hardware. However, Nintendo has included a number of features and abilities into the system that ends up making it harder to place the platform in terms of power. That said, one developer has offered an idea of what the system can do.
In an interview with WCCFTech, Koei Tecmo’s Takuto Edagawa, the producer for WILD HEARTS S, which is coming to the Switch 2 on June 25th, talked a bit about the power of the Switch 2.When Edagawa was asked to clarify where the Switch 2 stands in terms of power when compared to PS4 and Xbox Series S, he noted:
There are a lot of characteristics when it comes to raw computing power so it’s difficult to generalize, but I think it can be thought as closer to the Series S.
